Mold Damage – South Daytona Home

Mold Damage to this South Daytona condominium was discovered when SERVPRO of South Daytona Beach / Port Orange was called to clean up water from a dishwasher that had overflowed. Apparently, the dishwasher had a minor leak prior to this incident, and enough moisture was absorbed by the drywall to allow a mold colony to gain a foothold. We needed to remove all of the appliances and cabinetry in order to clean the mold from the affected areas. Some drywall needed to be torn out and disposed of properly. We used commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process.
